The Los Angeles Rams kept some much-needed depth at the wide receiver position earlier in the week.
On Tuesday, the Rams re-signed former fifth-round draft pick wide receiver Tyler Johnson.
Johnson, 25, first played for the Rams during the 2023 season. He spent the majority of the season on the Rams' practice squad before making an appearance in Week 18 against the San Francisco 49ers.
He caught one touchdown pass during the Week 18 matchup with the 49ers.
Johnson was drafted in 2020 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He recorded 48 receptions for 529 yards and two touchdowns across 31 games in two seasons in Tampa Bay. He started six of those 31 games.
Since leaving Tampa Bay, Johnson has played for the Houston Texans and the Las Vegas Raiders.
